The natural pine hives were primed and painted last weekend. One thing off the To Do list. Unless you really love to paint, I would recommend buying your hives already painted. Most online sites only charge $3-5.00 more. I’ll admit it is cheaper to buy the hives unassembled and unpainted and do it all yourself. Personally, I don’t like to paint.
Since I already had the primer out I decided to remove the sides from the trailer that had never been painted.
I hope we didn’t go too overboard? We now have an “official” bee wagon.
