If you remember the story about the Bob package installation, you know about Bumblin’ Bee’s problem with a defective rubber band. It didn’t even last 24 hours and dumped the queen cage into the bottom of the hive. As you can see from some of the recent post, she recovered and is doing great and laying lots of eggs.
Moral of the story – Defective rubbers can cause babies!
Since Bad Beehost Bumblin’ Bee didn’t remove the rubber band from the hive, the girls decided to do it themselves. He just happened to walk out to watch the hive Sunday evening and saw something unusual in the entrance of the hive.
This video below is a little blurry, but you can see Bumblin’ did his best to help out, since it was his fault the foreign object was still in the hive after three inspections.
Hopefully his video and beekeeping skills will improve in the future…
